- Hong Kong made its Formula E debut as the opening event of the 2016-17 season, and will now raise the curtain on season four with a double-header round featuring two races.
- The circuit, made up of 10 corners, winds its way around the Central Harbourfront area of Hong Kong, overlooking Victoria Harbour with the city state's imposing skyline as a backdrop.
- There's a good view to to be found from the observation wheel on the outside of Turn 6. Opened in 2014, it's 60 metres tall - or just under half the height of the London Eye.
- Previously a British colony before becoming a special administrative region of China in 1997, Hong Kong has a population of over seven million people.
ALEX'S TRACK VIEW
I'm going to get to race in some amazing places during my first full season in Formula E, and Hong Kong is definitely one of those. It's in a fantastic location, by the water in front of all the skyscrapers, and I've heard from other drivers that the track is really fun and challenging. We saw a really action-packed race last year too, so it should be a great way to start the season.
